Wang Yi said that China’s stance on the Korean Peninsula issue is consistent, clear and will never change, which is to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and safeguard the peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula. Therefore, the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue must be solved by peaceful means.
Wang Yi expressed that China is neither the focus of current conflicts nor the holder of the key to solving the Korean Peninsula issue, but in a responsible attitude for the peace of the Korean Peninsula and the stability of the region. China has always been making efforts to resume peace talks. Recently, China has put forward a reasonable suggestion that is being understood and supported by more and more countries.
