Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi Send Messages of Condolence over Passing of Privy Council President General Prem Tinsulanonda of Thailand

Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council and State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi of the People’s Republic of China sent messages of condolence respectively to Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai over the passing of General Prem Tinsulanonda, Privy Council President and former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. In his message, Li Keqiang said he was shocked to learn of the passing of President Prem Tinsulanonda. On behalf of the Chinese government and in his own name, Li Keqiang expressed the deepest condolences and conveyed sincere sympathy to President Prem’s relatives. Wang Yi said in his message that President Prem had been long committed to developing China-Thailand friendship, and was a significant witness and promoter of the bilateral relationship. We deeply lament the loss of such an old and good friend.
