On May 29, Ambassador Lyu Jian visited the altar in tribute of General Prem Tinsulanonda, Privy Council President and former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand at the the Privy Council of Thailand. In his notes on the condolence book, Ambassador wrote: we are shocked to learn that General Prem Tinsulanonda, Privy Council President and former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, passed away. I express the deepest condolences to the loss of General Prem. General Prem was an eminent leader of Thailand, who made great contributions to the development of the country. As an old friend of the Chinese people, General Prem had long been committed to promoting China-Thailand relations. The Chinese people will always cherish the memory of this old friend.
