Notice on Airline Boarding Requirements for Certificates ofNegative Nucleic Acid and IgM Anti–Body Tests Results

In order to reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, starting from 6, November, 2020, all foreign passengers who are to fly from Thailand to China will be required to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and then apply for a certified health declaration form before boarding the flight. The specific requirements are as follows:

I. Foreign passengers going to China via direct flights from Thai airports must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests within 48hours(valid from sample collected time) before boarding. They must take the tests at a medical institution designated or recognized by the Chinese Embassy /Consulates(please see: http://www.chinaembassy.or.th/chn/sgxw/t1827749.htm).

II. Foreign passengers must email the scanned copies of their negative nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests results along with their passport information page,the flight booking itinerary and the signed health declaration form(please see the attachment) to the Chinese Embassy /Consulates' mailbox .The Chinese embassy /consulates will then examine and verify the above information and email the stamped certified health declaration form back to the passenger.

III. Foreign passengers are required to print the stamped certified health declaration form out and bring the form with them to the airport. They must present the form within its validity period to the airlines flying directly to China before boarding and cooperate with airlines for further checking. Please be noted that passengers with expired Health Declaration Forms won't be allowed to board and are required to conduct new nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests as well as applying for new Health Declaration Forms.

IV. In accordance with the latest Covid-19 prevention and containment measures issued by Beijing Municipal Government, only citizens of the flight departure country and the local Chinese citizens are allowed to board direct inbound flights to Beijing.

V. It is requested that all foreign passengers shall abide by relative laws and regulations and provide genuine and effective nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests reports. Those who provide fake certificates shall take legal responsibility accordingly.
