On the occasion of the National Day of the People's Republic of China, I have great pleasure in extending my cordial felicitations and best wishes for Your Excellency's good health and happiness as well as for the greater success and prosperity of the People's Republic of China and her people.
Recent history only serves to show how close and mutually beneficial the partnership between China and Thailand has become, and how much it touches the lives of ordinary citizens in our countries. Public health, specifically our solidarity in facing the scourge of the pandemic, ranks high in the priorities of our cooperation. Equally of vital importance are trade, investment, technology and infrastructure. People to people contact, as best exemplified by tourism, enhances the existing vast reserve of goodwill and understanding. We do look forward to not only resuming these extensive areas of cooperation with China in the post-pandemic era, but, certainly, also to improving on their strength and intensity.
