Councilor Pan Peng Attended "Love Code - Chinese Contemporary Female Art Exhibition"

  On December 2, Councilor Pan Peng, spouse of Chinese Ambassador Lyu Jian, attended the opening ceremony of "Love Code - Contemporary Chinese Female Art Exhibition" held at the China Cultural Center in Bangkok and visited the Exhibition. The Art Exhibition is co-sponsored by the China Culture Center in Bongkok, the National Base for International Cultural Exchange & Research of China, the Institute of Literature of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai International Institute of Cultural Studies and Shanghai International Culture Association. The main guests attending the Exhibition included former Thai Prime Minister and President of Thai-Chinese Cultural & Relationship Council Phinij Jarusombat, Ms.Darunee,Deputy Director General of the Office of Contemporary Art & Culture, Ministry of Culture of Thailand, Director Chen Shenglai of the National Base for International Cultural Exchange & Research of China and the well-known Chinese artist Chen Jia Ling.

 

  President Phinij said in his speech that the activities of the China Cultural Center are very valuable and the Thai people should actively participate in them. Councilor Pan Peng hailed this event as a concrete manifestation of cultural exchanges and people-to-people bond between the two countries, which is in line with the Belt and Road Initiative. The works in the Exhibition, integrating Chinese outstanding traditional culture and contemporary art ideas and practices, are a feast of Chinese female art which demonstrates the good image of Chinese women in their self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement in the new era.

 

  The Exhibition included paintings and sculptures display, lectures, cheongsams show and Poya Folk Songs performed by Zhuang nationality artists of Yunan Province. This Exhibition will last until December 15.
